THE JACOBITE STEAM TRAIN

The Jacobite Steam Train will take you on an 84 mile journey starting near the magnificent Ben Nevis in Fort William and heading along the West Highland  railway line through some breathtakingly beautiful Scottish countryside and finishing up in the pretty fishing port town of Mallaig.  En route you can see the “Small Isles” of Rum, Eigg, Muck, Canna and the southern tip of Skye on a clear day. You will also pass through Lochailort, Arisaig and Morar and catch a glimpse their stunning white sandy beaches.

At the top of Loch Shiel you will pass Glenfinnan Village and it's famous monument, built in 1815 to mark where Bonnie Prince Charlie raised his standard at the start of the 1745 Jacobite rising.

And of course the highlight for many is living  the famous Harry Potter scene as you fly over the Glenfinnan Viaduct!
